TCF Answers, "How Many Calories Should I Burn During Weight Training?"Posted by Tyrone Cane on Aug 2, 2012 in Personal Training Blog | 0 comments
TCF Gilbert Personal Training was recently asked a question about how many calories should be burned during weight training to lose weight. Well, the answer depends on how much you weigh, what type of exercises you are doing, and the intensity a
t which you are training. To lose one pound, you need to burn 3500 calories. Usually that will include a combination of a decrease in calories you consume as well as an increase in physical activity.
TCF found a website where you input
your weight and the amount of time you do a particular activity, and it will calculate an estimate of calories burned. They also give you the information for a phone application as well.
